IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Anne
Reese
December 28, 1946 – March 30, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Anne Armstrong Reese, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Carol peacefully passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 78.
Carol was born on December 28, 1946, to Raymond and Mary Armstrong. She was the eldest of five children and is survived by her loving husband of many years, Steve Reese, and their three children: Debbie Tokwaulu, Randy Reese, and Billy Reese. Carol was also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her joy.
As the oldest sibling, Carol was a constant and loving presence in the lives of her brothers and sisters: Fred Armstrong (deceased), Mary Maxwell, Debbie Armstrong, and Tom Armstrong. Carol always made it her mission to care for her family, and her siblings knew that they could always count on her, whether for support, comfort, or a good laugh. Her playful way of "annoying" them regularly will forever be remembered with love and laughter.
Carol began her career in nursing in 1978 at the Melbourne Kidney Center, where she worked for nearly 30 years. Her compassion and dedication touched many lives. After retiring, she continued her service to others through volunteering at the Ascension Thrift Store and working at the Eau Gallie High School Clinic. She later worked and volunteered at the Calvary Chapel Gift Store, always with a smile and an abundance of stories to share from each of her experiences.
Above all, Carol's family, friends, and faith were the most important parts of her life. She was a bright light to those around her—offering comfort, laughter, love, and unwavering support to all who needed it. In the last 15 years, as she faced numerous health challenges, Carol never lost her spirit. Even during difficult times, she remained strong, often telling her siblings with a smile, "You all will miss me when I'm gone." Today, those words ring true, as her family says, "Yes, we sure will… we miss you more than words can say."
A celebration of Carol's life will be held at Calvary Chapel, Melbourne (2955 Minton Rd, West Melbourne, FL 32904) on April 8th, 2025 at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice (8060 Spyglass Hill Rd, Viera, FL 32940)
Carol will always be remembered for her incredible strength, loving heart, and the deep impact she had on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
