Carlton Yearwood Obituary

Carlton Yearwood age 84 of 3372, Rushing Waters Drive, Melbourne, Florida, 32904, transitioned May 1st, 2023. He was born in the twin Island of Trinidad and Tobago, May 18, 1938, of parents Denzel and Muriel Yearwood. Carlton graduated from Labour College in Trinidad. He was married twice, firstly to Anita Yearwood, formerly Raymond and then to Beatrice Yearwood, formerly Spady.

As a young man in his 20's he was an auto-mechanic and a retail entrepreneur. He immigrated to the USA in the 70s and held many positions including Insurance investigator, Central Supply technician, Union organiser and delegate and his final position was VP 1199 Union for Health and Hospital Workers. Over the years he attended many churches of the Pentecostal faith tradition with recent attendance at Eastwind Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by Joyce Raymond of Destin, Florida; Derick Yearwood of Rockledge, Florida; Carlton Belgrave of Indianapolis; Kymalya Yearwood of Jersey City, New Jersey. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday May 9th, 2023, from 4-5pm at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home and Cremation, 560 Montreal Ave, Melbourne, FL 32935 followed by a service at 5:00pm.
