Obituary

Calvin James, 90 of Melbourne, FL died Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
He was born to the late Rudolph and Olga James on April 14, 1928 in Costa Rica and raised in Saint Ann, Jamaica. Calvin married Eleanor Campbell in 1956 and they lived together in Brooklyn, NY before retiring to Florida in 1987.
Calvin was a Car Inspector for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York City from 1967 until his retirement in 1987.
Calvin could always light up a room with his infectious laughter. He was a passionate domino player and enjoyed spending time at the horse race tracks in New York and later in Florida.
Calvin is survived by his children Olga James-McKee, Wayne James, Dawn Smith, Todd James and Tammy Smith. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He will be missed.
