IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bruce Byron
Gould
December 7, 1951 – August 4, 2024
Bruce Byron Gould, of Melbourne FL left the pain and suffering of his earthly being and joined God to be in eternal rest and peace on August 4, 2024.
Bruce was born on December 7, 1951 into a military family at Pensacola Naval Hospital. He would go on to join the Air Force in 1971 answering the call for the Vietnam war. He would spend a year in Thailand under combat conditions.
His military career took him all over the globe, making friends everywhere he went. Some of his favorite memories of his time in the Air Force was living in Germany with his first wife, Barbara Gould and their daughter Patricia.
He would eventually return to the United States where he would meet his current wife, Lisa. Bruce and Lisa would spend five years in Japan, where they would have their daughter, Sarah. Upon retiring from the Air Force they resided in South Carolina where Bruce loved to fish the mountain streams. Their son, Adam then entered the family and they decided to be near family in Florida.
Bruce left his successful property management business to become a stay at home dad. He always put his family first. He later started his own pool business but it was more for the company of his customers than anything else. Each and everyone became a friend to him.
Bruce's last few years were spent traveling as much as he possible could. He lived life to the fullest!
He leaves behind his loving wife, Lisa; daughters Patricia (Jason) and Sarah; son, Adam; and his cherished grandchildren who fondly called him Grampie: Asher, Dylan, and Levi. Also left to mourn is his sister Ruth Ann, step-mom Carol, many aunts, uncles, and very special cousins, brothers and sisters in-law.
He was predeceased by his father, mother and brother.
