Rev. Billy R. Glidewell, 86, went home to be with his Lord on March 20th, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Treva J. Glidewell; one daughter, Stephanie L. Boyington, and son-in-law Rick Boyington whom he loved as his own son.

Rev. Billy Glidewell was born in East Prairie, Mo, on Nov. 26th, 1937 to Rev. Harry and Mrs. Ruby Glidewell who preceded him in death. Also preceding him were his brother Jess Glidewell and his sister Jean (Rich) Heberer. One sister remains, Susie (David) Stiles.

He was ordained through the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana. He pastored for over 45 years. A nephew, Keith Heberer, and a niece, Tracey Stiles Harlan, also followed him into the ministry.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 1:45pm at the Salvation Army Church, 1080 S. Hickory St. Melbourne,  Fla. 32901.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Salvation Army, to help further the Lord's work.
