Beverly Ann Venable, or as her family called her Sam age 82 went home to heaven on April 13, 2020.  She was born on November 1, 1937, in Liberty, Ohio to Beryl Ellen Long and Cloyce William McCone. In 1958, she married her husband and love of her life Richard (Moby) Venable who preceded her in death.

Sam loved to watch NFL and College football. She was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan and Penn State was one of her many favorite college football teams. She also loved to read books, go to plays and see the Celtic Woman. She loved anything that had to do with Ireland. For many years Sam worked for the Melbourne Library where she loved helping and serving her community.

Sam is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Colleen and Dickie Straney, her 2 sons and their wives Dean and Donna Venable, J. Richard and Betty Venable. Her 5 grandchildren Patrick Venable, Erin Venable and her fiancée Daniel Keating. Sean and Nicole Venable, Megan Venable and Andrew Venable. Her niece Lisa M Straney and her nephews and their wives Daniel and Faith Straney and Lester and Kathy Kirian. Along with several great-nieces and nephews.
