Betty Lou Lenie, 85, of Melbourne Beach, Florida passed away January 26, 2015.

She was born December 15, 1929 in Haines City, Florida and had been a resident of Brevard County since 1957, coming from Tampa, Florida.

Mrs. Lenie was a Pink Lady volunteer at Holmes Regional Medical. She loved music and enjoyed playing piano and the organ.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Pieter Lenie; daughter, Bettye Ann (Ed) Dunham of Melbourne; step-daughters, Alida Maria Williams of Hendersonville, TN, Rosa L. Holley of Whesley Chapel, FL and Janet L. Edrington of Bradenton, FL; godchildren, Kristopher Keith Brockington, Joshua Caleb Brockington, Nikia F. Brockington, Hugh F. Brockington III, and Ariel Brockington.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Ormonde Knapp Jordan in 1968 and her son, Ormonde Keith Jordan in 1982.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 11 am to 12 noon at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon followed by burial at Melbourne City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brevard Humane Society.
