Betty Louise Benedict's Obituary
Betty Louise Benedict, 77 of Palm Bay, FL, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at William Childs Hospice House. She was born in Altus, OK and has been a resident of Palm Bay since 2004.
Betty was a self-taught pianist and singer in the 1960s and 1970s in the Mississippi Gulf Coast area. She then moved to Fresno, CA and served in the nursing home care industry caring for elderly patients through the 1980s . She has been fully retired since 1997.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Chester of Palm Bay, FL and Billy Scalf of Taft, CA; Daughter, Shannon Tate of Madera, CA as well as 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
No visitation or service is scheduled.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Pkwy, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
A special thanks to the entire staff at Palm Bay Hospital and the William Childs Hospice House for their love, care, and compassion.
