Beatrice H. Benedikter, 86, of West Melbourne, Florida passed away on Friday September 4, 2015 at her home.

She was born July 18, 1929 in New York City. She married the late Rudolf A. Benedikter on August 28, 1948 and worked as a payroll auditor for the Comptroller's Office in Syracuse, NY. They retired to Vero Beach, FL in 1985.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dorothy (William) Davies of Vero Beach and Margaret Winschel of West Melbourne; grandsons, James (Kristina) Winschel of Cranford, NJ, Eric (Tiffany) Davies of Gilbert, AZ, Kevin (Emilly) Davies of West Palm Beach, FL and Richard Davies of New York, NY; five great-grandchildren, Michael and Lucy Winschel of Cranford, NJ, Emma and Audrey Davies of West Palm Beach, FL and Ryan Davies of Gilbert, AZ.

Bea delighted in watching videos of her great-grandchildren on Facebook.

Calling hours will be held 4-6pm, Friday, September 11, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Palm Bay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5330 Babcock St NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905.
