Barbara Elaine Courtney, 87, passed into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.  She is predeceased in death by her parents and her brother.

Born in Bath, Maine, Barbara moved to Florida in in 1955 and has resided in Melbourne since 1957.

Her husband, William "Bill" Courtney, survives her with great sadness, but also with joy at a life well lived (married for over 64 years).  Her children, Brenda Pannell (Ed), Bill Courtney, Chris Courtney (Sharon) and Steve Courtney will miss her love, guidance and laughter.  She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a great wife, Mom, "Nanny" and friend to all.  She exhibited such strength and was the most loving person.  She enjoyed crafting and was always working on a new project.  She was soo very talented.
