Barbara C. Angy, 91, passed away Sunday, September 3rd, 2019 at the Tidewell Hospice House in Arcadia, FL. Barbara was the daughter of James Roy Carroll and Pauline Mills Richards born on August 30, 1928, in Richmond, Indiana.

She and Allen B. Angy were High School sweethearts and were married (in a double-wedding ceremony) in 1948. They moved to Florida in 1951. Barbara and Allen lived in several places in the Melbourne area before settling down in Satellite Beach. They raised four, beautiful daughters.

Barbara volunteered as a Teachers Helper at Sea Park Elementary, and later as a Gray Lady at De Laura Jr. High School. Most of the children in the area knew Mrs. Angy as their swimming instructor. She taught Beginning swimming lessons up through Life Guard Instruction. Later, as her girls grew up, Barbara worked at the local J.C. Penney's as a Sporting Goods Salesclerk, and then as a Floor Supervisor for 13 years. In her lifetime Barbara worked an assortment of jobs including: Salesclerk at a 5&10 Store in Richmond IN., as a Fashion Model in N.Y., as a Salesclerk at Macy's Dept. Store in N.Y., as a Salesclerk for a Women's clothing store in Richmond, IN., as a Telephone Operator in Melbourne, FL., and as a Film Reader with RCA at Patrick Air Force Base, FL. But, her most important job was as Allen's wife, and being the mother of their four girls.

Barbara was a warm, loving and very social person, with adults as well as with children. She volunteered on various school boards, in classrooms, teaching children the basics of swimming, and as a Girl Scout Leader for several years. She enjoyed her Grandchildren, all kinds of sports, swimming, taking walks on the beach, gardening, Sunday rides in the car, exploring new housing developments, shopping, and she had a definite passion for fishing and being outdoors.

When Barbara first became ill, she was admitted to Holmes Regional Hospital, later she was transferred to Wuestoff Hospice House in Rockledge, FL. Due to Hurricane Dorian, Barbara's Hospice House came under a mandatory evacuation, and the patients were relocated to the west coast, at the Tidewell Hospice House in Arcadia, FL., where she passed away. She was with her husband, daughters and granddaughter when she passed. She was not alone, nor will she ever be forgotten.

Survivors include: Allen B. Angy, her loving, and devoted Husband of 70+ years; Daughters, Claire Atwood, Barbara Muchow, Pamela Angy, and (preceded by) Cheryl Wagster; surviving Sister and Brother: Mildred Carroll, and Richard Carroll; and predeceased Sisters and Brothers: Dorothy Montoney, Grace (Carroll) Knoll, Virginia (Hill) Reynolds, Harold Carroll, Edith Carroll, Charles F. (Bud) Hill, and James Roy (Pat) Carroll, Jr.; Grandchildren: Nancy (Bath) Lilley, Colleen Coker, Tommy Wagster, Angi (Wagster) Davidson, Teresa Wagster, Stefanie (Wiesner) Baird, Stacey (Wiesner) Pierce, Suzanne (Harrison) Dillingham, Billy Muchow, David Muchow and Craig Muchow; including 13 Great Grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews.

Ther will be a Service for Barbara on Sunday, September ^15th, 2019 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1053 Pine Tree Dr, Indian Harbour Beach at 2 PM.
