Arvil A. Nelson, 84, of Melbourne, Florida passed away January 1, 2015 at Wuesthoff Hospital.
He was born August 21, 1930 in Defuniak Springs, FL to the late William and Pearlie Nelson.
Mr. Nelson was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Prior to his retirement in 2008, Mr. Nelson worked for Nelson Engineering.
He is survived by his 6 brothers, Jesse Nelson, Gene Don Nelson, Hubert Nelson, Billy Chase, Butch Chase and Shorty Chase and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Juanita J. Nelson in 1994.
A private service will be held at a later date.
