Arleen Marie Finneran, 74, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Melbourne, FL. Born on June 30, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, Arleen was the child of the late Walter and Marie Carney-Cody.

Beloved wife of Frank Finneran for 55 years, who portrays her as "The Love of His Life"; cherished mother of Kathleen (Anthony) Laurendi, Susan (Donald) Marra, Michael Finneran and Steven (Barbara) Finneran; adored Nanny of Cody, Kayleen, Maegan, Kimberly, Kelly, Shawn, Cameron, Briana, Julia and Shannon; loving sister of Marilyn Peterkin; admired aunt of Carol, Debra, Diane and Robert; and best friend of Priscella Haynes.

She was a devoted believer in the power of prayers and maintained a deep devotion to St. Jude. Arleen lived for her family and enjoyed making memories. Nothing gave her more pleasure than watching her grandchildren dance, play soccer or attend school functions. She was an avid NY Jets fan and appreciated spending time with her Rumicue girlfriends.

The memorial for Arleen M. Finneran has been rescheduled for May 30, 2013 at Holy Name of Jesus, 3060 Highway A1a North, Indialantic, Florida. Visitation will be held in the chapel at 10:30AM with a funeral mass to follow at 11:30. Family and friends will gather in the Community Room following mass at 12:30.
