Anthony Quatrone, Tony, 95,  most recently of Melbourne, FL, and previously Venice and Orlando, FL. Hope Mills NC, peacefully departed this world into the arms of his Heavenly Father, on October 20,2018.

Tony was born on December 5,1922 in South Orange, NJ, proudly served in the Merchant Marines, Army/ATC during WWII, and then established the Antone Landscaping Company. Tony lived in NJ until the time of his retirement.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony and Edith Quatrone had five children, Janice Weigartner of NJ, Patricia Bristol (pre-deceased) of FL, Judy Guyer of FL, Denise Romeo and David Quatrone both of NJ. Tony later married Christine G Quatrone, the widow of his late brother, thereby rearing three more young children, Billy Quatrone of NC, Judy LaGreca of NJ and Shawna Brower of GA.  Tony is survived by 16 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren and a sister, Agnes Gervasio, 98, of NJ

Anthony Quatrone was very active in the Evangel Baptist Church in NJ, as well as the First Christian Church of Venice, Fl. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4206 of Melbourne, and prior Post 8118 of Venice, FL and a member of American Legion Post 117, Palm Bay, FL.

Tony enjoyed traveling shooting pool and staying fit by dancing, walking, swimming, and bicycling well into his early nineties. He consistently stated that he was going to live to 100 but that desire waned, as he became unsteady on his feet. We celebrate his life, his disciplined regime and for those who remain, we'll later celebrate 100, in his memory.
