Anna May Williams/Janas died in her sleep on May 1, 2020 at 102 years young.  Anna was born in New London, Connecticut but was raised by Margaret Ida Griffin/Willams & Sgt. Melvin H. Williams at Fort H. G. Wright, Fishers Island, New York.

Anna was married to Major Albin Janas at Fishers Island, New York at Lady of Grace Church.  Her favorite song was "Far Away Places" & her life with Albin took her all over the world & 49 of the 50 states.

She is survived by her daughter "Peggy" Margaret Stables & her husband Major Frederick M. Stables of Crewe, Virginia: four granddaughtes: 8 great-grandchildren & 7 great-great grandchildren.  Her whole family knows she is now with the Lord.
