Ann Nelson, age 83, of Melbourne, FL, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, October 08, 2019, with her family by her side.
She was born in Rome, GA, the daughter of the late Clyde Thompson and Agnes Valentine Thompson.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Buddy Nelson.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a wife, and a mother.  She enjoyed car racing, water skiing, traveling, and genealogy, and planned to hang glide into heaven!
Ann is survived by two daughters, Shirley Nelson and Susie Nelson O'Bryan; five grandchildren and one grandson-in-law, Michelle O'Bryan Pectol and Ryan Pectol, Chris O'Bryan, Timothy Chaille, Elizabeth Chaille, Sean O'Bryan; and two great grandchildren, Jaxon Harger, and Callen Harger. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church in Melbourne, FL. Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rockledge.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., before services begin.
