Ana D. Lopez, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice House, surrounded lovingly by her family. She was born on July 15, 1930 in Puerto Rico. Ana was the youngest of 13 children, 10 brothers and 2 sisters. She moved to the United States, met her sweetheart, Juan R. Lopez, and was married in 1953. They celebrated 53 years of marriage. Together, they moved to Florida in 1963, and she was the loving mother to her 5 children: Rick Lopez (Cindy), David Lopez, Jared Lopez, Garrett Lopez, and Vivian Soriero (Scott). She was affectionately called "Nana" by her two grandchildren: Lauren Flores (Alex) and Ryan Lopez. She was blessed to have known her great granddaughter, Felicity Flores, whom she adored. After raising her family, she worked at Indialantic Elementary for 25 years in food service and enjoyed the students immensely.  Ana will always be remembered for her strong faith and her love of children.

Ana's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 3:30pm at Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 210 West New Haven Ave Melbourne, FL 32901.
