AMBER FAYE HARMON

Loving Wife and Mother

Amber Faye (Stoddard) Harmon, aged 86, of Palm Bay, Florida, peacefully passed away at her home on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Sunday, March 29, 2020.  She is predeceased by her husband Harry Harmon, parents Evelyn and Otis Stoddard, sons Stephen Lonergan and Joseph Lonergan, great-granddaughter Victoria Thomas, her sisters Anita Stoddard and Doreen Papaz, brother Wallace Stoddard, brother-in-law Malcolm Papaz, niece Cynthia Papaz, and nephews Daniel and David Papaz.

She is survived by her children: Michael  Lonergan of Palm Bay, FL, Julie and Mike Vittitoe of Indialantic, FL, Thomas  Lonergan of Orlando, FL, Debra Lonergan of Frisco, Tx,  Ellen and Tony DiRico of Haymarket, VA, Bill and Danna Lonergan of Tupper Lake, NY, and Linda (Lonergan) Hall of Viera FL. She is also survived by her sisters Beth McCauley and Lela Warren, brother Dana Stoddard, sister-in-law Ellie Stoddard, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren: Robert Lonergan, Tara Thornhill and husband Caleb Thornhill, Maxwell Wilkerson, Stephanie DiRico, Anthony DiRico and wife Beth DiRico, Teresa Lonergan, Razal Smith and husband Nick Smith, Ryan Lonergan, Derrick Rabenold, Branden Vittitoe, and Alicia Vittitoe, as well as many great-grandchildren, including Mason Vittitoe, Khytiana, Max and Harlem Wilkerson, Charlee, Maddox and Landon Thornhill, Bonnie Lonergan, Stephen and Christopher Waldron.

She was born in Washburn, Maine, lived in many states while her husband and love-of-her-life Harry served in the United States Air Force. They eventually settled in Palm Bay, FL. After retiring from working in the hospitality industry, she enjoyed spending time with family and traveling. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Melbourne, FL.

Beloved by many, those who knew her will miss her dearly. We take great comfort in knowing she entered peacefully into her eternal rest surrounded by her loved ones.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date, and her ashes will be laid to rest with those of her husband Harry.
