Alice Caroline Schramm, age 93, of Melbourne, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 14, 2019. She was born to the late Bob Clark and Lessie Wee Clark in Andalusia, Alabama, on October 12, 1926.

She was the beloved wife of Retired Master Sergeant Roy Carl Schramm, enjoying 40 years of marriage until his passing in 1984. She was a true patriot, serving as a military spouse with her husband in the Air Force for 22 years. They lived all over the world serving their country, including stations in Virginia, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana and as far away as France. Alice was a loving and dedicated wife to her husband and mother to her five children. She was blessed to become a grandmother to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren in her lifetime. She will be remembered for her selfless devotion to her family, always making certain their needs were met before her own. She was a talented seamstress, and many sleepless nights were spent putting the finishing touches on Easter outfits, costumes, and prom dresses, all of which were beautifully made with love. She was a wonderful cook, as well, passing along a legacy of many delicious recipes that her children and grandchildren enjoy with their families to this day.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Mildred Shelton, Sharon Mondul, Frank Schramm (Candace), Mary Dunn (Jim) and William Schramm, as well as her sister Mary Rushing, and her 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Date and time to be announced.
