Albert Nerone, 89 of Fort Pierce, FL died on Saturday August 10 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. Albert was born at Goldricks Landing near the town of East Kingston, NY to Nazzarano and Theresa Nerone. He attended the Emma Wygant School in Flatbush and KHS in Kingston. He was a lifelong resident of Kingston till his move to FL in 2010 with his niece and family. He served in the US Army during WW ll 1942 to 1946 and was stationed in Burma, China and India as part of a Construction Battalion that built the Burma Road. He was employed by Star Brick Co in East Kingston, Kingston Crane Service as an oiler, and as a Swimming Pool Custodian at the Kate Walton Field House, which was part of KHS. He retired in 1990. He was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed traveling yearly to Colorado to spend time with his nephews and their families. Albert never married, but was a very close and special part of his sister Emma's family, our Uncle Bert. He is survived by his sister, Emma Sangaline of Melbourne, FL and her children Patrick, Michael, Patrice, Donald and their families, his Godchild and niece Maryann Kelly and family and several other nieces and nephews. His six brothers and one sister preceded him in passing. He was cremated in FL with a private service. Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne, FL is in charge of the arrangements.
