God called Adolph Los home on Tuesday, May 14th. Adolph, known to everyone as Al, was born on May 23,1925 in Warren, MA. He was the son of Walter and Victoria (Ciesluk) Los. He grew up in Warren and graduated from High School there in 1943. Following graduation, he went to work as a draftsman at Warren Pump Co. days, while attending Northeastern University evenings in Springfield, MA.

After Graduating in 1947, Al attended Gordon College in Wenham, MA. In 1951, the day he recieved his B.A. degree, he married Florence (Laurie) Sommerman. He enrolled at Westminister Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity degree in 1954.

As a registered Mechanical Egnineer, Al worked in that capacity for several companies in Massachusetts, including Northorp, where he designed the submarine communication equipment. He also worked on a centrifuge for NASA and several proposals for military equipment.

Having lost his wife in 1985 to pancreatic cancer, he married Betty (Griswold) St.John in 1987. In 1990, they moved permanently from New York to Melbourne, FL.

Besides his wife and sister Ellie Balchunas, he is survived by three children, Mark, wife Cathy, Patti, Andrea, husband Tom Kelly and one sister Jane Dolan, several nieces and nephews, as well as three step children, Roberty St.John, wife Martha, David St.John, wife Audrey, Laura, husband Jeff Sunderlin, and their children and grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held on May 23rd at 11:00 am at Palmdale Presbyterian Church, 684 North Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL. Officiated by Pastor Woody Morrison. Instead of flowers please make all donations to the Palmdale Presbyterian Church. There will be a Private Burial with family.
